Surroundings of the Plot are also important while purchasing a Plot:-

1. The plot, on which lots of Trees and Plants are there, is good.
2. If the river or canal is on the East side of the Plot and is flowing from South to North then it is a good Plot.
3. If the river or canal is on the Northern side of the Plot and is flowing from West to East, then it is good.
4. Hill, Hillocks, High land, Heavy objects on the South, West, and South-West of the Plot is good.
5. Plot adjacent to or near to any graveyard, cemetery, temple, mosque, tomb, etc. is not good at all.

• Roads on North and East are best.
• Roads on North and West are Normal.
• Roads on North and South are Normal if the Entry is from North.
• Roads on East and South are Normal if the Entry is from East.
• Roads on East and West are Normal.
• Roads on South and West are not good.

Roads to the plot

The direction of the Road to any Plot is very important. It cannot be ignored at all. So following are the cases with its results:-

Three side Roads of the Plot

• Road on North, West and South is Normal provided entry is not made from Southside.
• Road on North, West and East is good.
• Road on North, South and East is also good if entry is from North or East.
• Road on South, East and West is Normal.

Four sides Road of a Plot

Four sides Road of a Plot are rarely found but it is the best and has very auspicious results.

The slope of the Plot is also very important while selecting a Plot.

• The slope in North, East and Northeast is Very good and is supposed to be the best.
• High West and Low East is Good
• High South and Low North is Good
• High Southwest and Low Northeast Very Good

 Vasthu for the Main Entrance

According to Vasthu Shasthra, the main entrance to a home is not only the entrance of us, but also for the entrance of positive light, air with positive energy and prosperous. Entrance for your Plot, Building and each room in the building are also properly instructed by the Vasthu Sasthra in its rules.

1. The main door should face north, east or in the north-east direction.
2. Ensure that when you step out, you face the north, east.
3. Avoid placing a fountain, or any other decorative water-centric element, outside the main door.
4. Avoid placing a shoe rack or dustbin outside the main door.
5. Avoid a bathroom near the main door.
6. Ensure the main entrance is well lit.
7. Avoid painting the main door black.
8. Avoid placing animal statues or figurines near the main door.
9. Ensure your main door opens in a clockwise manner.

Vastu for house

• North Facing House Very Good
• East Facing House Very Good
• West Facing House Good
• South Facing House Normal

When you see a road on the north side from your entrance is a North Facing House. The North Facing Plot is very good for any type of construction, due care is required while deciding the structural design as the magnetic forces of the earth are generated from the North Pole.

There are few Specialties of a North Facing House that creates wealthy and healthy vibrations and ensures the prosperity of the people living in these.

• Master Bed Room should be in South-West direction of the house/flat. If South-West direction is not possible then the next place is North-West or South-East.

• If the attached toilet is required in a bedroom, it should not be in the North-East direction of the room. It can be in North-West, West or South direction.

1. The east or north-east part of your home is perfect for meditation, yoga and other spiritual pursuits.

In a home, the living room is where most of the activity is centered. It creates a favourable or unfavourable first impression when guests enter for social gatherings. Therefore, ensure the living room is planning with utmost care.

1. The living room should face east, north or north-east. Alternatively, a north-west-facing living room is also favourable.
2. Heavy furniture should be kept in the west or south-west direction of the living room.
3. All electronics and appliances should be installed in the south-east section of the living room

Sometimes, the smallest things can turn your fortunes around. Vastu Shastra shows you how your bedroom can enhance positive energy and even improve relations between members.

1. Ideally, the bedroom in a southwest, northwest and southeast direction brings good health and prosperity.
2. The bed with your head facing east, south, west.
3. Avoid placing a mirror or television in front of the bed.
4. Paint your bedroom walls in neutral or earthy shades as it radiates positive energy. Avoid painting your walls black.

The main bedroom should be on the southwest or northwest side of the house. If there is an upper story in the house, the master bedroom should be on the ground floor, in the southwest corner.

Guest bedrooms are best located in the northwest corner, but can also be located in the northeast corner.

Bedroom walls should be painted with light color.

• One should sleep in with his head facing east or south.
• One should never sleep with his head facing north.
• Upon rising from bed, the right foot should be placed on the floor first is good.
• If one is to study in the bedroom, the east side/north side should be used.
• The wardrobe should be located on the northwest or southwest side of the bedroom.
• Heaters and air conditioners should be located in the southeast corner.
